In my first days at EchoUser, I was not expected to immediately participate in a project. There was no project starting in that time and another team was swimming in lots of design work. I ended up contributing to the project within my first two weeks and taking on preliminary design for new site functionality intended to drive the business model.
ENVISIONING A BUSINESS MODEL
I was charged with creating a vision for new functionality. This required examining both content providers and product end-users; I presented this vision through screens and flows for each user type.
After initial sketching at the low-fidelity level, I created medium-fidelity wireframes in Sketch. I relied on patterns set by the rest of the product, which was already further along in the design process.
In addition to the view of existing Linkagoal users, this new functionality required the creation of an organization role type. This role would need the ability to administrate goals, view statistics and interact with groups and individuals.
